Yayasan Sultanah Rogayah

In conjunction with the Coronation ceremony, which was officiated on 23rd March, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan of Johor, was pleased to attending the Majlis Santapan Malam organized by the Indian community on 12th June.

At the Majlis Santapan Malam with the Indian community, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan of Johor, has launched the Yayasan Sultanah Rogayah, named after the wife of the Almarhum Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar (17 September 1873 – 8 May 1959) that comes from Indian descent, who his majesty married in 1897.

His Majesty felt that such initiatives were important to help the Indian community in need in providing relevant financial assistance.

As I always remind all the people of Johor, I am firm with the nature of the Muafakat Bangsa Johor – “Othrumai’– continues to maintain good relations of the people to maintain harmony under my rule.

Do not let anyone or any party divide this Muafakat Johor because of different political beliefs or parties.

The people of Johor must be united, loyal to the government, obey the law, be polite and constantly respect each other.
